EcoVentures operates from The Dolphin Centre just off Bank Street next to the harbour in Cromarty.

 

By Car

Coming from Inverness/South

From Inverness, take the A9 North across the Kessock Bridge. Approximately 6 miles north of the bridge at the Tore Roundabout, take the A832 east to the Black Isle and Cromarty. This journey will take you approximately 40 minutes by car.

Coming from the North/West

Follow the A9 south until you reach the Tore Roundabout. At this point, take the A832 east to the Black Isle and Cromarty. From the roundabout this journey will take you approximately 30 minutes by car.

  • From Inverness Airport— 55 minutes
  • From Dingwall— 30 minutes
  • From Beauly— 40 minutes
  • From Tain—50 minutes

By Air

The nearest airport is Inverness Airport and is the major air hub for the Highlands and Islands. It is serviced by British Airways, British Midlands, Easyjet and Eastern Airways. There are several daily flights from London and other major UK centres.

 

By Rail/Coach

Rail and Coach Services are available to Inverness on a daily basis.

 

Public Transport from Inverness

A public bus (route number 26) runs from Inverness to Cromarty several times a day. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Return buses to Inverness are also available from Cromarty. For information on the bus departure and arrival times please contact us or contact Highland Buses

 

By Ferry

A small 2 car ferry operates between Cromarty and Nigg (weather permitting) during the months of June to September. This offers an alternative route to/from the North.

 

Parking

Ample parking is available on the streets surrounding The Dolphin Centre.
